How to do Faux Calligraphy & My Favorite Font for Your Bullet Journal
This week I went with something other than the weekly spread; I choose to show a sample of how I do faux calligraphy or handlettering, along with my favorite easy font.
How to do Faux Calligraphy
First up: faux calligraphy. You’ve seen it on Instagram and Pinterest. You’ve seen it all over.
I’ll be honest; modern calligraphy takes a lot of time and practice to be successful at. So, in the meantime, you can practice faux calligraphy…one of my favorite ways to decorate my bullet journal.
Faux calligraphy combines your natural script writing with the thickening of all downstrokes. Watch the video below to learn how.
How to do My Favorite (Easy!) Font
Next: my favorite font.
I don’t quite have the name of this font, so the best way I can describe it is a doubled up sans serif font. It’s a great way to make your regular uppercase lettering a little more fancy, and (bonus!) it’s super easy to do.
