The Most Humble of “Thank You’s”
My dearest reader,
As a blogger and as a digital marketer, I watch the stats on my websites. Like a hawk.
A little less on this, my personal blog. Here, I tend to talk about personal views and struggles, so it’s more of personal journey.
Since it’s much more personal, I don’t pay much attention to the stats. And without comments (not that I need a “great post” comment), I don’t always know whether I’m helping or adding to anyone’s life in any significant way. And that’s OK.
However, I’ve had quite a few people of late tell me that one post or another here has: gotten them to think…inspired them…given them perspective…or they’ve just plain enjoyed it.
To that, I have two simple words: THANK YOU.

I couldn’t be more thrilled that you’ve enjoyed even one post I’ve written.
Why I write
I’ve always been the type of person who needs to write everything down. It’s how I learn best and it’s how I process thoughts best. So it makes sense that I’d make writing apart of both my personal and professional lives.
Writing is also when I’m in one of my most vulnerable states. I figure if I can put a small piece of myself out into the universe and it helps someone else in even the smallest of ways, it’s all worth it.

What makes me so happy
People like my friend Zac and others have been inspired to write. Others still have felt empowered to make choices or simply feel more comfortable. That not only makes me happy…it makes me ecstatic.
And I’ll tell you one thing…none of that has anything to do with me. Maybe you heard a phrase or a sentence that clicked; but the thoughts were always there. Sometimes it just takes one person to make another feel like they’re not the only one feeling a certain way.
At the end of the day, it makes me so, so happy to hear these things. It’s why I do what I do.
So…thank you
I cannot express my gratitude for those of you who continue to read – or are first time readers. It is my sincerest hope that something I put out there can help you grow, make you think, or inspire you. At the very least, I hope that I offer another opinion that expands your mind in even the smallest of ways.
I urge you to let me know what you think and tell me what you do/don’t like; blogs are meant to be a conversation, after all. I’m just here to start the discussion.
All my love,
Nicki
