How to Make Tomorrow a Better Day
We all have crappy days.
Maybe you didn’t get to the gym like you wanted to. Perhaps you didn’t get as much done as you needed to. Or maybe you were just plain lazy.
And that’s ok…the goal is to make tomorrow better. Here are a few ways to do just that.

Make a list
As a queen of list making, I’ve found it’s one of the only ways that I can focus on tasks rather than all I need to accomplish.
Making a daily, weekly, or monthly to-do list is a fantastic way to get all that is in your head down on paper. Most importantly, you won’t forget anything.
Take it a step further by identifying priority items vs. less important items. In other words, there are certain things that must get done and others that can wait. Tackle your priority items first, then hit your secondary items.

Know when it’s OK to be lazy…and when it’s not
I don’t know about you but I’ve always felt horribly guilty if I spend a Saturday in bed or on the couch watching movies.
The reality, though? As long as your schedule allows it, it’s OK to take a break every once in a while. As long as you don’t allow yourself to get in a funk due to a lazy day, I find it’s often helpful to give your brain and your body a break. Rest and relaxation can truly do wonders.
Realize that every day is a new day
One of the biggest things I’ve come to realize is that none of us can go back in time and change anything…so regret is useless as far as I’m concerned.
What can we do, though? Learn from our mistakes and promise ourselves that tomorrow, we will do just a little bit better than we did today…and follow through on that.
Don’t procrastinate
It may sound like I’m supporting procrastination here, so I want to make something clear: I am not.
Mistakes we made today can be lessons for tomorrow, but I’m certainly not suggesting that you live in the future by continuously telling yourself, “Oh well, I’ll do better tomorrow” and never follow through.
For yesterday, today was tomorrow. (Is your mind blown?) So make sure you do everything within your power to be better than you were yesterday.
So tomorrow, wake up on the right side of the bed and conquer the world!
