While these may feel heavy or even a little “hippie dippie” to you at first glance, there’s really power in them.

Thoughts vs. Intentions vs. Manifesting
No matter what you believe in, we call all agree on one thing: your thoughts create your reality. (It’s all about perspective, right?)
For that reason, negative thoughts typically create a negative reality, while positive thoughts create a positive reality. Said another way: your positive or negative intentions can define your reality.
Taking all this a step further, the process of manifesting is a fairly simple one. In essence, manifesting is simply the obvious and clear thoughts you have. Just as you can manifest negativity, you can also manifest positivity.
So even though publications like A Course in Miracles (and plenty of others) has made the idea of manifestation a bit of a buzzword right now, you see there’s really little difference in thoughts vs. intentions vs. manifesting.
How to Harness the Power of Positivity and Manifest Your Own Reality
So how can we manifest a positive reality? How can we increase our positive energy (and therefore vibrational frequency) in order to make real and positive change in our lives?
Here are a few tips for harness the power of positivity and manifesting your reality.
Ready to create harmony in your busy life?
Figure out what you want in life or in a specific situation. Knowing what you want in life or as an outcome is the first step to manifestation, as it will give you a clear vision of what you want.
Trouble getting clear? Try meditating, exercising, or whatever helps you clear your thoughts in order to get deep with yourself.
Ask for what you want
Unfortunately, it’s not enough to leave your life up to chance; you have to ask the universe for what you want. There are many ways to ask and this is key in harnessing the power of positivity.
Do whatever feels right for you: pray, meditate, visualize, write or say affirmations, create vision boards, journal, or write a letter to yourself. Asking for what you want accomplishes two things: it more clearly defines what you want and it also signals the universe to your intentions.
In line with everything else we’ve been talking about, it’s important to look to the future and create real goals that you want to accomplish. Again, ask for the universe to help you with these!
Set both short-term goals as well as long-term goals, so that you can feel the sense of accomplishment as you achieve them.
Feel the feels
Part of the reason we want to accomplish goals is to attain a certain feeling by doing so. What if you could harness those feelings so that you can have them even before accomplishing your goals?
Guess what…you can!
Simply visualize yourself having already accomplished your goals and you’ll help further manifest your dream as your reality. (For example, let’s say your goal is to pay off all your debt. Simply visualize yourself regularly as already have done so!)
Do the work
It’s critical you actually do the work that aligns with your goals and your positive vision. Unfortunately, it’s not enough to just be manifesting; you have to also do the work along with it.
Trust the process
Even in discouragement and frustration, you must trust the process and have faith in whatever you believe. You may question the process at times and that will inevitably stand in the way of your positive thinking.
Affirm your manifestations every day, using something like this: “I am closer to my goal every day. I trust this process. I will be successful in accomplishing my goal.”
