That sounds like a low vibration.

In short, your vibration speaks to your energetic frequency.
All matter resonates at different frequencies and, in general, negative feelings and energy tend to mean a low vibration and positive feelings and energy tend to mean a high vibration.
What does a low vibration feel like?
You already know what a low vibration feels like: you’re sluggish, feeling down, and more. But here’s what else it feels like:
- You feel tired and lethargic
- You’re emotionally distant
- You’re very self-focused
- You suffer from chronic illness
- You are physically unfit and unhealthy

Ok, you’re starting to get it now. You know that high vibrations are good for your mood and for attracting what you want in life. But you also get that low vibrations happens and are totally normal.
So how do you raise your vibration? (That’s right…you can improve your vibration from low to high!)
INCORPORATE THE ELEMENTS
1. Get in water
I’m a big believer in the healing power of water. As a Scorpio (hey, water signs!) water is extra powerful for cleansing my energy. Here are a few ways to use water:
- Splash water on your face
- Soak a bath
- Take a shower
- Take a swim in a lake, river, ocean, or pool
2. Get outside
A little fresh air can make all the difference. Get outside – day or night – and spend a few minutes taking some deep breaths. Take a walk if you can to move your body and bonus: walk barefoot on the earth to really ground back in.
3. Use crystals
Incorporate the power of crystal healing to improve your vibration. Look for the crystal(s) that match with what you need the most of right now.
CHANGE YOUR FOCUS
4. Show gratitude
Energy flows where attention flows, and it’s no different when it comes to being thankful for what you have.
Try starting and/or ending your day by thinking about 2-3 things you’re grateful for.
5. Meditate
It’s no secret that meditating can improve your vibration by calming your thoughts and bringing your focus back where it best serves you.

6. Focus on the positive
Positive thoughts = positive energy, right? YES!

It’s incredible what a few deep breaths can do for your body, especially since so many of us tend to hold our breath or often take shallow breaths. Recalibrating, calming, and easing anxiety, even 5 deep breaths will have your vibration improving in no time.
8. Move your body
Whether you love yoga, dancing it out, lifting weights, or going for a walk, moving your body will do wonders not only for your vibration, but your overall health too!
9. Eat high vibrational foods
Whole fruits and vegetables have inherently higher vibrations than processed and less nutritious foods. Consuming higher vibe food will help raise your vibration.
10. Drink plenty of water
Keep your vibration high with plenty of water. This not only hydrates your beautiful body, but also flushes anything unwanted out!
11. Eliminate toxins
Similarly, decreasing the amount of toxins (pollutants in the air, consuming alcohol or tobacco, etc.) in our bodies will undoubtedly increase our vibration as well.
12. Listen to high vibrational sounds
Certain sounds or music have different vibrational frequencies which can help alter our own vibration. Harsh sounds and music have the opposite effect.

13. Practice kindness
Being kind feels good for you and it feels good for others. It only makes sense that it would help raise your vibe!

Whether you enjoy making art, writing, crafting, gardening, or anything you can imagine, getting creative will help improve your vibration.

16. Say no to what doesn’t serve you
Raising your vibration doesn’t mean always saying yes; sometimes it means saying no to the things, activities, opportunities, and even people that don’t serve your highest and greatest good.
17. Block out negative vibrational people
For my empaths in the room, it’s important to protect your energy. Empaths and highly sensitive people tend to take on the energy of others, so try imagining a bubble around yourself when in proximity to others.
This will help train your brain and your body to block out negative energy from others, or simply energy that isn’t your own.
