This is simple sprout

We help agencies and business owners grow by simplifying SEO and content. Think senior-level marketing leadership and human-led content, without the jargon, the filler reports, or the full-time executive price tag.

Founded by fractional CMO and Editor-in-Chief Nicki Ong, we bring 18+ years of experience to simple, proven, actionable digital marketing that sounds like you, ranks on Google, and shows up in AI answers.

In short, we’re women-owned, and we love helping other entrepreneurs and agencies thrive!

Our Mission

Our ultimate goal in business?

At simple sprout studio, our mission is to give business owners and the agencies who serve them a trusted, senior-level marketing partner. We lead strategy, guide the content, and keep a human at the helm, so your online presence sounds like you, shows up in search and AI answers, and brings in the right leads.

Our Values

This is how we roll.

▷ Simplicity: SEO and content don’t have to be complicated. We break down complex marketing tactics into plain language and clear next steps, so you always know what’s happening and why it matters.

▷ Honesty: We’re brutally honest, even when it means talking ourselves out of a job. If SEO isn’t your best move and you’d get more from a new website or social media support, we’ll tell you.

▷ Creativity: We find creative solutions that make sense for your business and your budget. Smart strategy and fresh ideas, built to fit you rather than a template.

▷ The Little Things: The magic is in the details. From the strategy behind a page to the final edit, we go the extra mile to make everything we create polished, on-brand, and easy to use.

▷ Education: We never leave you high and dry. Throughout every project, we explain what we’re doing and why, as much or as little as you want, so you feel confident and in the driver’s seat.

About Nicki Ong

CEO/Founder + Editor-in-Chief

Since 2008, Nicki Ong has helped businesses turn their websites into something they’re proud to send people to. She started in the trenches of SEO copywriting and blogging, and the results speak for themselves: an 820% increase in organic traffic and a 4,200% traffic increase with 2,100% more blog conversions for two clients, just to name a few.

Today, as founder of simple sprout studio, Nicki works as a fractional CMO and Editor-in-Chief for CEOs and the web agencies who build for them. She owns the content side so you don’t have to: the strategy, the search and AI visibility, the voice, and the final quality check. She uses AI where it speeds things up, with a human always at the helm, so everything published sounds like you, ranks in Google, and gets cited in AI answers.

Alongside her work, Nicki is a multipassionate mompreneur raising two boys, a wife, a fitness and nutrition enthusiast, and an eternal optimist.
