But are your customers&nbsp;feeling the love?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All too often, we see companies that are scraping by and just doing the bare minimum. (And if that works for them, great!) That personality should ooze from everything you do: from your branding to your website to your print collateral to your sales team to your marketing department to every employee on the totem pole and to everything other corner of the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being genuine starts with a personality, but it ends with being honest and accountable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be honest with your customers when you should be, and be accountable for your actions when you should be. If you make a mistake, own it and apologize, then move on. Your customers will have far greater respect for a company that is genuine for one that is not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>2. Don\u2019t just meet needs, exceed them.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Think of the companies you love.&nbsp;Now think about why you love them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chances are, you don\u2019t love mediocre service or sub-par products. No, of course not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You probably love that Company XYZ has phenomenal customer service that will respond and immediately deal with any issues you have that arise. And you probably love that Business ABC offers the best product in their industry\u2026even though it may be a bit pricier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simply meeting your customer\u2019s needs won\u2019t cut it\u2026you have to exceed them. So go out of your way to make the best experience (and products) possible for your customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<script async=\"\" data-uid=\"9a4e83d7d9\" src=\"https:\/\/nickiong.ck.page\/9a4e83d7d9\/index.js\"><\/script>\n<br>\n\n\n\n<h2>3. Build trust.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Love starts with respect, meeting and exceeding needs, and trust. And it\u2019s no different when you love a company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gain trust from your customers by being open and honest with them. Communicate if there is a major change or issue that will affect them, and though they may meet you with understandable frustration, they will be all the more happy with you in the long-term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>4.&nbsp;Reward them.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Last, but certainly not least, reward your customers. Whether it\u2019s for being loyal or simply being a customer, offer your audience rewards to keep them coming back for years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some examples of rewards include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Customer discounts or sales<\/li><li>Great content on your blog, email newsletter, social media, etc.<\/li><li>Contests or promotions to get them involved and engaged<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Whatever reward you share with your customers, make sure it\u2019s one that \u2013 you guessed it \u2013 they\u2019ll love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It isn\u2019t easy building a relationship with your customers where they\u2019ll fall in love with your company. Not unlike falling in love with your significant other, it takes time, trust, and respect to build that relationship.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group wp-block-post-footer\"><div
