We recently had our 3-year anniversary here at red vine (prior to simple sprout). I guess that means we\u2019re officially out of our terrible 2\u2019s!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three years in business means a few things. It means that we\u2019re effectively one year closer to avoiding the awful business failure statistics. (50% of businesses fail within the first five years.<\/a>) It also means that we\u2019ve learned quite a bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are just three things I\u2019ve learned in three years of business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. It really is<\/em> who you know.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

They say in business \u2013 and in many things in life \u2013 it\u2019s not what<\/em> you know, but who<\/em> you know. After three years, I\u2019ve come to see that\u2019s more than true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For red vine \u2013 and more specifically the marketing services at red vine \u2013 it\u2019s best to complete\u00a0SEO\u00a0or\u00a0blogging\u00a0projects<\/a> while a new website is concurrently being created. So our collaborative external network of developers is very important to the success of our business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It makes sense that since we offer services that their web design\/development only shops don\u2019t, we can lean on one another for certain projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m eternally grateful for the relationships I\u2019ve built \u2013 and continue to grow \u2013 over the past three years and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
