Do you feel drawn to creating a certain type of content, but feel like you \u201cshould\u201d be creating on every platform?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First off, let\u2019s get rid of all the \u201cshoulding\u201d around content creation, shall we? That\u2019s a sure fire way to burn out and start resenting your platform(s) of choice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start with content you (and your audience) love<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If there\u2019s a certain type of content you love, start there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re all drawn to one, so get clear on the type you love. Is it writing? Talking? Interviewing? Which one is your jam? Here are some options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u27a1\ufe0f Podcasting
\u27a1\ufe0f Social media
\u27a1\ufe0f Video
\u27a1\ufe0f Email<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This channel or medium is what I call your content “hub.” As you’ll soon see, this is where all <\/em>your content begins.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make sure your audience is on this platform (and wants to connect with you) or content creation will unfortunately be wasted time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create consistent content<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Then, create consistent content<\/a> (say that 5 times fast \ud83d\ude1c) on that platform. Get really, really comfortable with the content platform and create a habit of creating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No matter what type of content you choose, consistency is key. Be sure to choose a content schedule<\/a> that works for you and that you stick to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Repurpose your content<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After you’ve spent the time to create powerful, valuable content, you probably feel accomplished…as you should!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then you remember that you have five other channels that you’re active on. \ud83d\ude33<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I have a secret for you\u2026you don\u2019t need to reinvent the wheel. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Repurpose the content from your main \u201chub\u201d on other channels, and consistently driving potential customers back to the original. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That way, you\u2019re reaching your people on their<\/em> platform of choice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 Ways to Repurpose Content (from just one place!)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
1. BLOG <\/h5>\n\n\n\n

If you love to blog like me, your blog is the perfect hub for your content. Not only can you create valuable long-form content<\/a> on your blog, but you can easily drive visitors to your website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use SEO<\/a>, video, or even a podcast to build content for your blogpost if you have them (but they aren’t necessary!<\/em>), then repurpose your blog content to social media, an email newsletter, and in groups you’re part of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. PODCAST <\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Are you a born interviewer or simply love to talk through things? Creating content with podcasts might be perfect for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use SEO and networking to build your podcast (but they aren’t necessary!<\/em>), then repurpose your podcast content to a blog, social media, video and imagery, an email newsletter, and in groups you’re part of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
