Why? Live blogging can be difficult to follow if it\u2019s essentially just glorified session notes. Therefore,\u00a0live blogging doesn\u2019t have great value.\u00a0<\/strong>And, as we know, modern content marketing is all about\u00a0adding great value. In fact, I heard in an\u00a0#INBOUND15<\/a>\u00a0session today that another issue is that live blogposts don\u2019t \u201clive\u201d far past the day they were published.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So why do I still live blog at conferences knowing that it\u2019s not going to be as powerful as some other posts I might put together?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In college, I re-wrote all of my notes in preparation for a test. That\u2019s how I learn best: by writing everything down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Since I know I\u2019m going to take detailed notes anyway, I figure I might as well share the value with others by posting it in a blog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For that reason, I do very minimal formatting and adjustments. My live blogposts are what they are: my glorified notes.
