If you sit down to write a blogpost or social media post and think “what in the world do I say?!”<\/em> you’re not alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are so many powerhouse female entrepreneurs that know their stuff and still<\/em> have self-deprecating thoughts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b7 Who am I to say this or teach about this?
\u25b7 Do I have enough experience to help someone else with this?
\u25b7 Why would anyone listen to me?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The simple fact is: you do<\/em> have innate, magical gifts that you can share with the world. You have deep knowledge and wisdom that can help your future clients…and now you just have to believe it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But how do you do that? How do you just get content confidence?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll be honest with you: it takes work. Confidence isn’t something you can just turn on and off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It takes mindset work, practice, and consistency. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s dive into the 3 simple steps to build your content confidence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Do the inner work.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It’s one thing for me to tell you that everyone suffers from self doubt in some capacity, and it’s another for you to work through your own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you sit down to write a piece of content, how do you feel? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ready and excited? \ud83e\udd29<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OR<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b7 Instantly filled with dread?
\u25b7 Immediately overcome by writer’s block?
\u25b7 Panicked by the amount of time you need?
\u25b7 Worried before you even begin that it’s not going to be good enough?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you struggle with these (or other internal blocks), start by doing the internal work necessary.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes, you might just need more practice or some helpful tips on content creation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other times, some deep meditation<\/a> or self-care<\/a> can do the trick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And in other cases, you may need the help of a professional, like a therapist or psychologist. (No judgement here; in fact, I think everyone could benefit from the help of such a professional.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Keep it simple.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Aside from time and what to create, overcomplicating content is one of the biggest challenges I see for female entrepreneurs and creators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overcomplicating content might be why you’re doubting yourself and what you’re creating.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you reverse engineer what your ideal clients are searching for online or what they need help with, try to tackle the small, specific problems with your content. While your product, service, or offering should tackle the big problems, your content can answer the simple ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For instance, instead of: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Think smaller and content confidence will come because you realize you’re not trying to solve all the world’s problems. You’re trying to answer a simple (or at least, simple to you!) question your audience has.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create compelling content with powerful headlines or titles<\/a> that also have clear calls-to-action to learn more or work more deeply with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Just start.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to confidence, one of the best things you can do is build on your creative accomplishments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you see that you can write and finish a piece of content – or that it can get traction with your audience – you’ll start to see the immense value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With each piece of content you create and post, the more your confidence will begin to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s why we have to commit to the ideas of “done, not perfect” and “starting before we’re ready.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both will get you out of your comfort zone and help you see that you can<\/em> be a content creator – and a confident one, at that!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
