I got lucky, as\u00a0my brother\u00a0is a great designer and created beautiful cards for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/nickiong.com\/app\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Choosing-business-card-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"choosing business card\" class=\"wp-image-82\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2>How to Create a Great Business Card<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After reading some great posts on the subject, here\u2019s what you need to know about creating a great business card:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Easy-to-read and understandable.<\/strong> This is an easy one: make sure that your font is legible and large enough. Also make sure that someone could quickly and easily tell what you do with a quick glance at your card.<br><\/li><li><strong>Keep the important details without overdoing it.<\/strong> You need to have: your company name, your name, your title, your phone number, your email address, and your company website. Try not to add much more, as cards can easily get cluttered.<br><\/li><li><strong>Make it unique.<\/strong> You want your card to be memorable so that when you hand it out, it doesn\u2019t get shoved in a pile with others or, worse, thrown in the trash.<br><\/li><li><strong>Get good quality.<\/strong>\u00a0Obviously, you don\u2019t want to have your business cards printed on a piece of paper or even on Cardstock out of your printer. At the same time, you don\u2019t need to spend thousands for business cards. Using a service like\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vistaprint.com\/\">Vistaprint<\/a>\u00a0is a great (and cost effective) way to get good looking business cards.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<script async=\"\" data-uid=\"9a4e83d7d9\" src=\"https:\/\/nickiong.ck.page\/9a4e83d7d9\/index.js\"><\/script>\n<br>\n\n\n\n<h2>How to Get Rid of the Cards<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you\u2019ve got beautiful business cards\u2026it\u2019s time to get out there and hand them out! Here are some ways to give them out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Always keep them on you.&nbsp;<\/strong>Always have a stockpile on you. (I find keeping them in my wallet is easiest.) That way, if and when an opportunity presents itself, you\u2019re able to hand them out.<br><\/li><li><strong>Friends and family.<\/strong>&nbsp;Who are your biggest cheerleaders? The people that love you most, of course! Hand out a few business cards to your friends and family so that when they brag about you and your business, they\u2019ll have your contact information to pass along as well.<br><\/li><li><strong>Any meetings.&nbsp;<\/strong>Obviously, it goes without saying: going into a meeting with a potential customer or client, you need to have those business cards on you!<br><\/li><li><strong>Chambers of Commerce.&nbsp;<\/strong>Joining your local Chamber of Commerce or SCORE chapter is a great way to network. And, you guessed it, a great way to hand out those cards!<br><\/li><li><strong>Other Networking Events.&nbsp;<\/strong>There are plenty of other networking groups you can find via Twitter, LinkedIn, professional organizations, etc.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Step 7, check.<\/em>&nbsp;<\/strong>Now that you have your business cards printed and are working on handing them out, it\u2019s time to&nbsp;snap up those social media profiles and start using them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group wp-block-post-footer\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<div
