Some don\u2019t have all of the information filled out that they possibly can; others are missing a cover photo; and most are simply bare when it comes to content on the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Facebook may not be right for your business; but for many, it can be. Coming to your page as a potential customer, I want your page to look:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Lived in (filled out fully)<\/li><li>Updated regularly (so that I don\u2019t forget about you)<\/li><li>To feel like when commenting and asking questions, I\u2019ll get a (relatively immediate) response<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to fulfill these things, you won\u2019t need to be tied to Facebook 24\/7; you\u2019ll just need to put a things into place to make sure your Facebook presence is doing everything it can for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/nickiong.com\/app\/uploads\/2021\/01\/facebook-business-page-likes-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"facebook business page likes\" class=\"wp-image-98\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2>Fill out your profile<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I cannot stress this enough. Customers come to your Facebook page looking for your website address, email address, phone number, address, etc. Think of how frustrating it is when they can\u2019t find that information. It doesn\u2019t take much time to set this up initially, so make sure you have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>A profile picture<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This should be your company logo; keep your creativity to the cover photo. A square image is best, but you can also use a rectangular image and select to have Facebook scale to fit the photo. Remember, though, if you have a complicated logo, your thumbnail will be difficult to see. The image must be at least 180 x 180 pixels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>A cover photo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It doesn\u2019t need to be out-of-this-world creative, but it should give your visitors a sense of who you are and what you do.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>About section<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s keep this simple: fill out&nbsp;<em>everything you can<\/em>. Here\u2019s a selection of what you\u2019ll be able to fill out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Category<\/li><li>Official page (if applicable)<\/li><li>Username: Once you get 25 likes, you\u2019ll be able to choose this. Choose wisely, as you\u2019ll only be able to change it once.<\/li><li>Start date\/type [<strong>Update:&nbsp;<\/strong>you can now choose your username&nbsp;<em>immediately<\/em>&nbsp;upon creating your page!]<\/li><li>Address<\/li><li>Short description: This will show up in the \u201cAbout\u201d section under your profile picture. Be sure to start with a link to your website and then include a short description.<\/li><li>Description: This will show up on the \u201cAbout\u201d&nbsp;<em>page<\/em>.<\/li><li>Mission<\/li><li>Founded<\/li><li>Awards<\/li><li>Products<\/li><li>Phone<\/li><li>Email<\/li><li>Website<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>That may seem like a lot of information, but once you\u2019ve done it, you\u2019re done!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<script async=\"\" data-uid=\"9a4e83d7d9\" src=\"https:\/\/nickiong.ck.page\/9a4e83d7d9\/index.js\"><\/script>\n<br>\n\n\n\n<h2>Post regularly<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you can\u2019t commit to at&nbsp;<em>least<\/em>&nbsp;one Facebook update a week, then Facebook probably isn\u2019t the right place for you. Ideally, you should really be shooting for a post a day or at least several posts per week. Luckily, creating those posts doesn\u2019t have to be time consuming or creativity consuming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Get creative<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t need a mind blowing post every day. Sometimes, your audience just needs to be reminded that you\u2019re there! Here is some inspiration for what you could post; but be sure to mix and match the content so it\u2019s not always the same!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Blogposts<\/strong>: You can use a tool like&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/apps.facebook.com\/blognetworks\/\">NetworkedBlogs<\/a>&nbsp;to do this automatically for you, or you can do it yourself.<\/li><li><strong>Images and photo galleries<\/strong>: Feel free to get really creative here. You can create galleries for everything from products to company outings to random snapshots of what\u2019s happening in the office. Remember, people like doing business with people, so the more personal you can make it, the better!<\/li><li><strong>What you\u2019re reading<\/strong>: Read a great article in the Wall Street Journal your audience would dig? Great! Share it!<\/li><li><strong>Sharing<\/strong>: Along the same lines, you should be liking other pages as your business; so be sure to repost statuses and links that your audience would also enjoy.<\/li><li><strong>Video<\/strong>: Obviously, this is a little more time intensive, but a video is a great way to engage your Facebook audience.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4>Schedule posts<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If the thought of having the time every day to post on Facebook stresses you out, then have no fear. Facebook allows you to schedule your posts into the future. So, if Monday morning you have 15 minutes of free time, take that opportunity to schedule your posts for the next week or two. You\u2019ll be glad you did!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Not sure what you\u2019ve already scheduled?<\/strong>&nbsp;Go to facebook.com\/[your page URL]\/allactivity and view your published and scheduled posts. You\u2019ll be able to edit or delete scheduled posts here as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Make sure you have the right users<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If you simply do not have the time to create Facebook posts, choose a user(s) that can. You can&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/redvinestudio.com\/facebook-admin-roles-which-admin-role-is-right-for-your-page\/\">pick and choose the administrative levels each user has<\/a>, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Be ready to respond<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t need to be on Facebook 24\/7 in order to see if anyone has commented or asked a question that needs an immediate answer. Simply go to Edit page &gt; Manage Notifications. There, you\u2019ll be able to choose the options that work best for you; be it receive updates via email or on Facebook itself.
