One of the biggest excuses we hear from people who don\u2019t want to do more with their web marketing efforts is \u201cthere isn\u2019t enough time.\u201d We know, we know\u2026we\u2019ve used that one too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What if we told you that you can<\/em> market your business better in just one hour a day? And that time could be spread amongst other people in your company. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s say you only have the responsibility of 15 minutes of that hour. Could you make room for 15 minutes of web marketing a day? Sure you can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So let\u2019s say you choose lunch time do spend your hour of web marketing time. Here\u2019s how you could spend it. Ready, set, start the timer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12:00 \u2013 12:15pm: Blogging<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Spend this time writing part of your blogpost for the week. You have all week \u2013 5 days or 5 blocks of 15 minutes (1 hour 15 minutes in total) to write your post. It isn\u2019t going live until a week from now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(You can also use this time to create other types of content if you don\u2019t have a blog or have additional sources of content you are responsible for, such as an email newsletter.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12:15 \u2013 12:25pm: Editorial Calendar<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Update your editorial calendar<\/a>. Try to get as much accomplished in this 10 minutes as you can. You should be able to come up with at least several days of content and, don\u2019t forget, you\u2019re going to have time to do this every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12:25 \u2013 12:30pm: Posting<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Update your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. accounts for that day. This should be quick and easy, as you already have your posts laid out in your editorial calendar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social media management tools (like Hootsuite and TweetDeck) can really help take the time and guessing out of logging in and out multiple accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
