Pay Attention to Other Search Platforms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Google isn\u2019t the only place people search. Depending on your business, your audience may be searching on YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn<\/a>, Reddit, Amazon, industry-specific directories, social media platforms, and AI<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That doesn\u2019t mean you need to be everywhere. Please don\u2019t add six more platforms to your already-too-long marketing to-do list. Instead, figure out where your ideal customers actually spend time and create a presence there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your SEO research can even help. The questions and keywords you discover through your research can become content ideas for these platforms, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The point of SEO isn\u2019t to collect impressive traffic numbers. It\u2019s to help your business grow. A strong SEO strategy should be part of a larger marketing plan, not the entire<\/em> plan. Google can be an incredibly valuable source of visibility, but you don\u2019t want your business hanging on one algorithm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
