There\u2019s a point in your business when doing everything yourself stops being a strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the bigger issue underneath all of these tasks. When you’re the CEO and<\/em> the content writer and<\/em> the social media manager and<\/em> the SEO person and<\/em> the email marketer, you’re not really building a marketing system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’re becoming the system. And that doesn’t scale very well; your business should not fall apart because you took a week off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal isn’t to completely remove yourself from your marketing. You should absolutely know what’s happening, what you’re promoting, who you’re speaking to, and whether your marketing is actually working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But there’s a big difference between leading your marketing and doing your marketing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your business has grown but your role hasn’t changed with it, take a look at what you’re still doing simply because you’ve always done it. Some of those tasks may be ready to leave your plate. And honestly? That’s a pretty good sign that your business is growing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
