When it comes to your website\u2019s\u00a0content<\/a>, it\u2019s difficult for entrepreneurs to decide exactly what they should be writing about. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For some, it\u2019s easier for some to talk about their accomplishments, rather than focus on the customer. For others, it\u2019s easy to ramble on and on without getting to the point; while, for others still, it\u2019s hard to say much at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So what should your webpages be about on your business website?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Does your webpage have a purpose?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are plenty of websites out there that have meaningless page after meaningless page on the website. (If that\u2019s not a surefire way to lose a visitor (read: customer), I don\u2019t know what is.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A common example may be: you offer services to your customers, so it makes sense to have a \u201cServices\u201d page on the site. Start fleshing out your content and if you find that each individual service warrants its own page, go for it! If you don\u2019t need a page for each section, don\u2019t waste your time. Instead, consider smaller sections on a single page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So if you\u2019re just getting started on your website, be sure to ask yourself if each page has a purpose as you create it. If you already have a website, perform your own audit and assess whether each\u00a0page has meaning and purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
