One Year Later, I Love Florida.

Just a few short weeks ago, I have officially been in Florida for a year.

I’m not going to lie, it wasn’t the perfect transition. I had a hard first six months and, at first, wanted to move back to Maine. But, per usual, life has a way of working out.

I ended up getting my ideal situation – and what most people would consider insane – multiple part time jobs. You see, thanks to many interests, it’s really the perfect job.

Long story short, I slowly but surely started meeting people in the area and low and behold, I’ve come to love the sunshine state!

It may not be forever, but for now, I love it here.

My takeaway?

If ever you move to a new place, take a new job, or simply have a major change – planned or not – give it a chance. It’s totally normal to rebel against a major change at first, but make sure you give it a full shot before deciding yay or nay.
