The Power of a Great Story

I’m not a journalist, but I am a blogger. I’m also a storyteller. Always have been. Always will be.

Do you know what makes a storyteller happy? A good story to tell. A good story is easy because it doesn’t need a whole lot of flowery language or strong arguments. It is what it is: a good story.

I got to write about (what I believe is) a great story the other day.

Keith Keirstead, a designer currently based in New Hampshire, felt the need to create something after the Boston Marathon tragedy. This is what he came up with:

What’s more is that, thanks in great deal to Keith’s circle/supporters, the post I wrote got a TON of traffic. I’d like to think it’s thanks to my writing, but I know that that’s exactly the power of a great story.
