DIY: Easy Top-of-Cabinet Kitchen Decoration

I’d originally found this post pinned on Pinterest and found it adorable; but I want to put my own spin on it. Meanwhile, I’ve always had a major decorating issue in the kitchen: what can you do with the top of your kitchen cabinets?
Many people like to display extra or pretty glassware they hardly use. Others like to pop a faux plant up there, but those tend to get dusty…and fast.

Ready to create harmony in your busy life?
Instead, I decided to go DIY on this bad boy. I picked up a few letters from Hobby Lobby (like these) along with some spray paint.
A few coats later, complete!
Then I simply leaned the letters along the top of the cabinetry and voila!
I think it turned out to be a very cool and modern way to spice up the top of your kitchen cabinets.
