Do What You Love, Love What You Do

Life is short. It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day bill paying, working, list-checking-off schedule and forget what it’s really all about: doing what you love with the people you love.

Take the time to take stock in what you’re doing. Do you love it? Not every single second, of course; but overall, do you love what you do?

What about in your spare time? Are you doing the things you love to do?

Are you passionate about your work?

I’m a big believer in loving what you do every day. Money will never make you happy, so I truly believe that doing what you’re passionate first, and making money second is the key.

Start by figuring out what you love to do: whether it’s creating things, helping people, or crunching numbers. Then do what you need to do to make it happen: whether it’s education or finding the perfect job. There are plenty of tests out there to help get you started!

Ready to create harmony in your busy life?

Are you passionate about your personal life?

It seems so simple, but so many people get bogged down without ever enjoying their lives. If you love to travel, get out there and visit new places. If you love the beach, make sure you get there. If you love to go to the movies, make sure you do it regularly.

Whatever it is that you love to do, make it happen.

Make a list if you need to

Sometimes it’s easier to write things down. What do you love doing? Here’s my list for a little inspiration…

  • I love being creative [so I lean toward writing, marketing/advertising, and fashion]
  • I love staying active [so I coach a cheerleading squad, belong to the world’s most awesome gym, and run, do yoga, and workout regularly]
  • I love my dog [so I spend time with him regularly]
  • I love doing new things [so I have subscriptions to Groupon and Living Social so I get to do amazing new things for a percentage of the cost]
  • I love my friends and family [so I try to make time for both of them as much as possible]

How do you make sure you do the things you love?
