The following is a guest blogpost by my good friend, Zac Bean.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I started writing tonight, it started with a purpose. (I respect every writer because he or she has a passion and a purpose.) I decided to write because I had a bad day and it is my way to vent and express myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along the way something crazy, unexpected, and amazing happened.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I learned that while writing is an outlet, that I also enjoy writing. It\u2019s is selfish, but  I write for myself. I try to encourage everyone to write to get their feelings out. If you are anything like me, you are scared of putting yourself out there. I was and always felt if I did put myself out there I\u2019d only get hurt and regret doing it. If you have read anything I have written<\/a>, you will realize recently I have put myself out there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can tell you it has been rocky\u2026with ups and downs, but it\u2019s a new experience for me and I have grown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The way I see it life is all about experiences and what we make of them.<\/strong>\u00a0I always thought people write while they are going through extreme highs and lows; and I\u2019ve always wanted to write while I wasn\u2019t in a high or low\u2026but doing well. Things have been well, work is good, my personal life is always evolving. There\u2019s been some good and some bad, but it\u2019s better to have a crazy one than none at all is how I see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want everyone to get a good grasp on who they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I sat down with Nicki and we talked about our lives since college; about how much had changed and how we\u2019ve grown. If you knew us both in college you can see the change in us both and how people rub off on each other\u2026at least I think so. We also talked about writing blogs and I told her if I wrote and put myself out there, I want people to read what I have wrote. It would be for one reason, and that is to help people understand that there are many people feeling the same way I do and realize its not just a single person who goes through life struggles. [Editor\u2019s note: I made it clear to Zac that his amazing thoughts would reside somewhere, even if it was my girly blog.<\/em>]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can think of many reasons to write: for love, frustration, passion, to get your thoughts, all of the above, and many more.\u00a0The hardest part and the biggest hurdle is to just start<\/strong>. I think that if you start to write, it will just flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
