Happy April Fools Day 2013: A Roundup of the Best April Fools Jokes from the Interwebs
Web geeks are historically brilliant at creating amazing April Fools jokes. And every year, they seem to get better and better.
Google, by nature, always comes out with something brilliant, but there were also a few other unexpected exciting pranks this year.

Of most companies out there, Google is, by far, the most infamous for fantastic April Fools Day pranks. Let’s run down what they did this year…
Google Nose
One of the most popular from the day has been Google Nose, which has created an entire campaign around search and scent. The idea is that once you make a search, you’re no longer forced to experience only the search result, but able to experience the smell as well.

With over 15,000 scents in their arsenal, Google pulled out all the stops to ensure you get a smell transmitted for your nasal pleasure.

They also put together a terrific video on Google Nose. (I personally have no idea how all of these Googlers held their composure during it!)
Google Maps
It’s easy to find buried treasure….as long as you have Google Maps.

Google Analytics
Apparently, the International Space Station in Australia is making regular visits to websites today.

YouTube
YouTube’s finally let the cat out of the bag. Apparently, it’s all just been a big contest.
Tech sites
Bing
Bing got smart today…they decided to pose as Google. If you typed “Google” into Bing today, you’d be able to “bing”. Confusing, no?

Imgur
Let’s go old school, shall we? Don’t upload, instead…snail mail.

Twitter decided today that vowels come at a cost.
Happy April Fools Day!
