How to Start Your Business: Part Nine (Launch the Business!)

Last time we talked about getting the right small business tools. At this point, since you’ve gotten everything set up, it’s time to pull the trigger!

Launch your site

It’s easy to get too focused on minor details you may still not like on your website, but it’s important to get it launched. Remember, you can always make changes after your website is live; and it’s important to get your website up and indexed.

Network

Depending on your business, it’s important to get out there and network. Talk to anyone and everyone, hand out those business cards, and join groups like:

  • Your local Chamber of Commerce
  • SCORE
  • Niche networking groups (try doing a Google search for “networking group [your city, state]”)

Create content on social and blog

You’ already created your social profiles and have your blog set up on your website. Now it’s time to go full force and create, create, create!

Work, work, work!

The points above are important to grow your business, but always make sure you save enough time to actually sustain your business. So it’s time to get out there and pound the pavement, sure, but also time to work, work, work!

And that’s it, folks. Step 10, check. Although your work is never done, so be sure to revisit any of the processes you put into place to make sure that it’s continuing to work for your and your business!
