6 Easy Questions to Ask Yourself: Are You Creating A Cohesive Web Presence?

You have a number of social media profiles, but are you creating the presence your company deserves online? More importantly, are you creating a cohesive presence?

Answer “yes” to all of these questions and you’re as good as gold!

1. Do all of your social media accounts use the same name?

If not, they should. This includes your Twitter handle, Facebook username, YouTube username, Instagram handle, and so on.

2. Do you have links to all of your other presences on your website?

  • Blog (and sign up for blog)
  • Sign up for email newsletter
  • Social media accounts

3. Do all of your backgrounds and cover photos replicate that of your website (and other marketing materials)?

  • Facebook cover photo
  • Twitter background
  • YouTube background

4. Do you suggest your followers on one network follow you on the others as well?

Do you mention that you’re on other networks and link back and forth?

5. Do you post your written content on all of your networks?

Every time you post a new blogpost or email newsletter, be sure to link to it from all of your networks using “clickable” content.

6. Do you post daily – or at least weekly – on all of your networks?

While the amount you post on a network is specific to both your business and that network, it’s important to post regularly.

  • Daily – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+
  • Weekly – YouTube
