5 Things You Should Be More Conscientious About Today
I’m a big believer in constantly working to improve yourself.
Here are 5 more things you should think about doing today that will help make you an even more awesome version of yourself.

1. Look people in the eye
It amazes me the amount of people – especially young people – who talk to someone and don’t ever make eye contact.
Can it be intimidating to look at people in the eye? Distracting even
Absolutely. But what better way to connect with people than to actually look them in the eye? If you’re not so great at it now…don’t worry….practice makes perfect!

2. Drink more water
I’ve always had a hard time drinking enough water every day. Recently I discovered a great tip for drinking more water. Be sure to check it out.
3. Call your loved ones
When’s the last time you called your parents? Your siblings? Your aunt or uncle? How about a distant cousin or your grandparents?
It’s easy to say “I’ll call tomorrow.”
But here’s a scary thought: what if – heaven forbid – there isn’t a tomorrow for you or them? Stop putting it off and pick the phone up once in a while to simply say hello and “I love you.”
4. Do something that makes you happy
Happiness starts with allowing yourself to be happy. Believe it or not, many of us put up road blocks to our own happiness.
Then, try making a list of things that makes you happy. It may sound silly, but actually listing the things that make you happy help identify what makes you blissful. I’ve found that doing at least one thing on that list every day…or every other day makes a huge difference. It doesn’t hurt to love what you do, either.
(And, by the way, don’t forget to stop and smell the roses every once in a while.)
5. Do something that makes SOMEONE ELSE happy
What better way to pay it forward than to do something kind for someone else in your life? Or even a random stranger? After all, that’s why we’re all here.
